Happy Thought for 10 February, 2023
Have a
Happy Thought:
Whether
you’re stuck in the midst of winter, or you’re bunkering down for yet another
drenching storm
(checks
notes – yep, that covers pretty much everyone on this mailing list)
It can
be good to have some comfort food ready to hand. Or mouth. Or hand to mouth.
And in
case you feel the need to write an article, blog post, or whatever, and want to
be absolutely sure you’re writing and spelling according to the Associated
Press guidelines (and let’s be honest, that’s the first thing you think about,
right?), here’s how to spell some, well, favourites??
Naan
Kimchi
BLT
PB&J
Doughnut
Fluffernutter
(a sandwich made with peanut butter and marshmallow creme usually served on
white bread)
Horchata
Ketchup
(sorry, catsup lovers)
Meatloaf
Omelet
Po'boy
Chiles
Chili
Whoopie
pie (American baked product that may be considered either a cookie, pie,
sandwich, or cake. It is made of two round mound-shaped pieces of usually
chocolate cake, or sometimes pumpkin, gingerbread or other flavored cakes, with
a sweet, creamy filling or frosting sandwiched between them.)
Shawarma,
Shepherd's
pie
S'mores
Coffeecake
Cornbread
French
fries
Microgreens
That’s…
a lot for one sitting, hope it gets you through the weekend!
Also, if
I’ve inspired you… you’re welcome 😊
Also, if
the only thing off this list you eat is microgreens, your tastebuds need to
have a conversation with you (although your arteries might thank you!)
